Red - Riviere du Rempart

I rarely write reviews unless the service is exceptional or incredibly disappointing. Unfortunately, this experience fell into the latter category. It was quite possibly the worst service I have ever received in my many years of dining out at countless restaurants. I ordered the lamb dish, which was not enjoyable at all. When I asked the server if it was actually lamb or beef, she became defensive and stated that they have been serving it for 7 years and know what they are doing. Her body language, facial expressions, and hasty exit were far from providing great customer service. The food itself was lackluster - the Tom Yum soup was almost Rs400 and had fish skin floating in it. Overall, the service was so disappointing that I will not be returning to this restaurant.

I have visited this restaurant many times. The atmosphere is lovely, the food is great, and the staff are very pleasant.

My husband and I have been loyal customers for the past two years, but we have noticed a decline in the quality of the food. This is the first time I have ever had to send food back to the kitchen. The service is mediocre at best. The owner makes an effort to speak to certain customers, but has never spoken to us in the past two years. It may be time for us to find a new restaurant.

My husband, my mom and I went there for dinner. The service was not very good and the food was average. We were brought the bill when we hadn’t even asked fir it and intended to order desert . I do not recommend this place

Best food IMHO in the North. Great service. Friendly staff. Only have good things to say about Reds.
