The chef creates a appealing menu showcasing various dishes including fish and meat, all beautifully presented. The restaurant offers a diverse selection at affordable prices and stands out compared to other dining establishments in the village. With its intimate and personalized service, it is a gem worth visiting.
This Auberge doubles as a restaurant that is open to the public. My partner and I came by on a Sunday evening after cycling the P'tit Du Nord Trail and we were truly impressed by the quality of our meal. There were also locals dining here, which is always a good sign. The meal was delightful and served with a personal touch. The Amuse Bouche was a rabbit liver mousse that left me wishing I had ordered more. Our appetizers consisted of home-smoked duck breast with a salad and trout engraving. For the main course, we enjoyed a dish of wild boar as well as locally sourced pork. Both dishes were accompanied by a delightful sauce and a range of fresh vegetables. The wild boar was incredibly tender. The standout feature of our meal was the variety of vegetables served with each dish, and the portions were generous. An intermezzo was also included, adding a nice touch. For dessert, we had a brownie with a delicious vanilla mousse and the best cream we have ever tasted. I have dined in many restaurants, including in France, and this one definitely ranks up there. My only critique would be that the only choice for red wine was a California zinfandel, which was just average.
Une très bonne table et très abordable en plus. Une table d`hôte digne de grand restaurant avec des produits locaux originaux très bien présentés et apprêtés. Un service courtois et chaleureux. L`auberge est impeccable propre et décorée de bon goût ainsi que toutes les chambres. Menu table d`hote les vendredis, samedis et dimanches et menu bistro durant la semaine.
The Chef prepares an attractive menu with variety of plates, fish or meat, very well presented, and builds a multiple-entries gastronomy fare at low rates. Worthwhile. Intimate ( small establishment, personalized expert service). They blow away the other eating places in the village.
