Chef Song's Chinese - Riyadh

Updated:May14/23Placed my order day before oh no problem for the pickup time requested for next day. Showed up at pickup time actually 10 minutes before and had to wait 30 minutes for my order. Then get home with the food looked at the bill overcharged again. Sat down to eat all the meat was so overdone that we couldn’t even eat it. Went back to chef song with the meats and requested refund they came up with 35.00 my bill was 90$ I said know way, that’s not correct then they said another figure I took it and left, I went back later because they ripped me off another 15$ and he tried to say no that isn’t correct so I showed him my calculations and he gave me the proper amount refunded. I believe how they try to rip off customers. CHECK YOUR BILLS PEOPLE. The food isn’t good anymore at all received cold and dried out meats way overcooked. Soups were not 32 ozs only 24 ozs. And cold!Will not be returning here.Placed an order for pickup here. The food was very good better than alot of other Chinese places in area. Only thing the ginger beef was overdone, but it was still very tasty . But I was overcharged for the food according to the online prices. I was suppose to receive a free fried rice. 10% discount for pickup. They also didn't put in a menu with the current prices. Just a debit receipt.

We have ordered from here before. Way better food and experience. Food was ordered online, and it said it would 1 hour 15 minutes. Ended being that and we waited in the lobby for another 45 minutes. Food was just ok. We will try a different resto in our neighborhood next time. Very disappointing, considering we had people at home waiting for dinner.

The lemon chicken was dry, over cooked.. was not impressed. Had it before and it was great! Was looking forward to it and was so disappointed!

I can't rate the atmosphere cause I never went I ordered. However, I'm not 1 to leave reviews. I've lived in Vancouver and tend to dislike most Chinese food here in wpg next to those on Pembina hwy. I'm located in East winnipeg and tried this place having a craving and let me tell you ?. They are good! Veggies are crispy, meat is fresh and they give good portions. Extra RICE ? is very appreciated ?. If they keep this consistency there my #1 now. Ordered the black pepper beef shrimp mixed vegetable Deluxe rice the only critique on the deluxe rice is it could been a bit more spicier and I would preferred not the carrots as they were I believe previously frozen. Other than that the rice was great and every other dish was fantastic

Chef song is the best chef I ever meet. Love the food there, last night we was ordered the party tray for our family. General Tso’s Chicken. This was the best chicken I ever try!!!! Next time when you want to eat something, you could show them pictures. Their price was affordable and reasonable.
