Bernard's Gastropub Eatery - Roanoke

This charming little restaurant is fantastic! Their version of a Reuben sandwich is amazing. I also tried the fried pickles, which were delicious and served in generous portions. The service was incredibly friendly. It's a lovely gastropub that Roanoke should definitely take pride in.

I'm very glad I decided to try this restaurant. The bartender was outstanding, managing the entire dining room on her own while providing exceptional service. The restaurant itself is beautiful, featuring pleasant music and a wonderful atmosphere, along with clean restrooms. I ordered the Texan burger and it was one of the best I've ever tasted; their cheesy potatoes are also definitely worth trying. I’m excited to visit this place again!

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The food and service were both outstanding. They offer a great selection of local beers, as well as wine and cocktails. I particularly enjoyed the bread and burgers for lunch—definitely give the eggs a try too! Although the outdoor seating overlooks a rather dull street, the ambiance indoors is cozy with low lighting and a groovy vibe!

I had dinner at Barsolo and it was fantastic. The service was excellent, both at the front and at the bar. I particularly enjoyed watching the owners prepare each dish to perfection in the kitchen. I started with a cup of French onion soup and had a parmesan garlic fried chicken sandwich, which was likely enough food for two people. I washed it down with two local IPAs. This place ticks all the right boxes: delicious food, a great selection of local drinks, genuinely happy staff, and an inviting yet sophisticated atmosphere.
