Dairy Queen (treat) - Roanoke

Their staff is absolutely wonderful and their blizzards are sooo good.

Usually get milk shakes there. Really have cut back on the whipped cream. Good hot dogs too.

I don?t go to to Dairy Queen very often and when I do I usually don?t have a problem but today I went in there was unsure what to order and the person who helping me with my order rolled her eye when I was trying to see what else I wanted. What type ofcustomer service is that?? Her name tag said ? Amanda shift leader? what type of shift leader do you all hire? Because that isterrible customer service!!

This is based on three visits in the past week. Each was for ice cream using the drive-thru. The first time, the drive-thru closed at 9:57, we we're stuck in the line ten minutes boxed in while they worked on two orders ahead of us. They got to us andsaid that the speaker turns off on a timer and they are closed once it goes off. The manager wouldn't budge on this. Thesecond time they were dark again earlier than 10. The third time we got to them while they were open only to find the glacialspeed in the drive-thru is typical at about five minutes per person. They swapped bags with the person in front of us threetimes as they tried to get his order right. We got up to the head of the line and they had one person making orders while themanager engaged two others in a conversation in the way of the one working person. Five minutes later we had our ice cream, butwe are going to Salem for Blizzards from now on, they are open until 11 and can make two Blizzards in less than three minutes,at $10 for two Blizzards you should expect no less.

Tables were dirty. Manager very attentive. Ice cream yummy.
