The Regency Room - Roanoke

The service was excellent, the food was intriguing and thoroughly enjoyed. The evening was filled with great music and dancing in their lovely atmosphere.

I have been dining at the Regency Room at the Hotel Roanoke for many years, and I was thrilled to see the consistent improvement in every aspect of the cuisine. I chose the duck entrée and was pleasantly surprised by how well it was prepared. The ambiance was great, with beautiful music playing in the background.

The dining experience was fantastic, though a bit pricey. We were disappointed to learn that the fixed-price 5-course menu is only available when ordered by everyone at the table. The wine pairings were great, but there were noticeable sediments in the red wine. The jazz music was very enjoyable, although we would have preferred classic jazz over more modern pop tunes from the 70s. The staff was excellent.

My wife and I dined here for our anniversary and found it to be the absolute finest experience in Roanoke. The service was exceptional, the food extremely well seasoned and cooked to perfection and the ambiance with music and dancing added to make the evening far above expectation. Our waiter, Brody (sp) had an outstanding personality and professional manner. We have dined at many places and I must say without hesitation that the Regency Room and the entire staff at Hotel Roanoke are truly exemplar. Very well done! We will return!
