China King - Robbins

This place is a hidden gem! The food is both excellent and generous in portions. Unlike some other restaurants, they don’t skimp on the shrimp here – they are large, fresh, and you won’t have to worry about running out halfway through your meal. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality; everything I’ve tried is made with fresh vegetables and stir-fried to perfection. It’s tough to choose between the lo mein and the rice noodles, as both are outstanding. The only dish I didn’t enjoy was the orange beef. While the flavor was good, the texture was quite off-putting. Had I known the beef was baked, I wouldn’t have ordered it. The result was a soggy, unappetizing mess. I considered returning it but had picked it up just before closing time. I’ll probably store it in the fridge and end up throwing it away. I won’t deduct any stars, though, since the rest of the food was consistently delicious.

I encountered incredibly rude service on the phone and the staff seemed unfamiliar with their own menu.

The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable; you always get value for what you pay.

Food is good! Had stopped going for years because food wasn't that great. Had heard new management tried it again. Glad I did!! Will definitely return!
