It seems like they have no interest in serving customers during their operating hours. The lights were already off at 6:20 pm, giving the impression that they were trying to avoid customers. I think Mr. Fulks and Mr. Roger would be disappointed in the service here. I recommend going to the Williamston location instead, as it is much better than this one. It's unclear why they would have their lights off before closing time. It left me wondering if they were open or closed, or perhaps just trying to save on their electricity bill. This was my second visit to this location, and once again, there were no lights on. 11/14/23.
Most Bojangles locations are excellent, but be cautious as they may serve you old or dry chicken, or give you thighs and legs when you ordered double breast dinners. Be sure to check your order before leaving to ensure the chicken is not dry. I prefer freshly cooked chicken and am willing to wait if necessary. They could consider donating any leftover chicken to homeless shelters where it can be used to make meals like chicken noodle soup. My favorite meal is the chicken breast dinner with pinto beans and a biscuit. I also enjoy the dirty rice, but pintos are good for the heart and help lower cholesterol. Their breakfast biscuit specials are also a favorite of mine, particularly the smoked sausage or regular sausage options. Hot sauce and honey are a great addition to the meal!
