Parthenon Taverna - Rochdale

I visited this restaurant with my husband and two teenagers. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, helping us choose from the menu as we wanted to try a few items. We didn't have the meze, but it was delicious. We tried the meatballs, lamb shoulders, and other dishes which were all amazing. We had some leftovers, so they kindly gave us a doggy bag. The meal wasn't expensive, around £15, but there was a lot of food. The service was great, with staff intermittently checking on us throughout our meal. I would definitely go back to this restaurant.

The restaurant serves a small selection of Greek dishes, but mainly offers Italian cuisine. The meal was excellent, especially the lamb which was falling off the bone. The dessert portions were a bit tiny and the cheesecake seemed a little dry, but still enjoyable. The service was excellent.

The Parthenon Taverna has been rebranded as Mediterranean and no longer exists. The new restaurant offers amazing Italian and Mediterranean cuisine and should be considered for inclusion on Trip Advisor.

We had our first visit on Sunday afternoon in this place: we will definitely be back the service that the food was excellent. I had salmon it was so delicious a decent part that my partner had the lamb that he was overwhelmed by the taste. very sociable place

Great food and good atmosphere I would recommend and definitely visit again in the future. Only small inside but really cozy nice feel to the place
