The Gallows - Rochdale

I have said previously that this place is a hidden secret in milnrow I still haven’t had a bad experience food hospitality Etc…. It’s been snowing for many hours here and no taxes were prepared to pick us up so. INCREDIBLY the landlady gave us...a lift home. I’m sure this isn’t a regular option but the fact that it was offered and then we got a lift is fantastic. I cannot recommend this place enough as hidden jems art hard to find.

Called in on way back from holiday as near to Nice beer, excellent food Sunday dinner) and attentive staff. Really enjoyed it surprised it wasn’t busier.

Went for Sunday dinner after a recommendation and was not disappointed course menu for Lovely fresh dishes, beef was so soft to eat and fabulous thick gravy. Sticky toffee pudding was totally tasty. Overall, amazing.

First impressions count the bright, clean interior with lovely furnishings was a great start. The menu was just perfect for us as we were hoping for a lovely Sunday lunch. Dad is doesn't like to be over-faced, so they were more than...happy to accommodate by serving the veg separately so he could help himself. The quality of the food was exceptional the presentation very appealing, obviously a very talented Chef. Dad sent his thanks to the Chef he actually popped out to see us, making Dad's lunch complete! All in all, I can't recommend this place high enough we would definitely visit again. Thank you so much well done.

Had lunch today, very friendly and efficient service. We both chose the jerk chicken with rice from the specials board and it was excellent, accompanied by some good beer (Neck Oil) and wine.
