The location on the edge of the Doubs adds an extra touch of charm to the experience. But most importantly, food was delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quiet place to enjoy an excellent meal.

The green setting by the water makes it all its charm, the kitchen is good and the professional chef. Unfortunately, I have come on several occasions to know the manager, a manipulative character, having disturbing speeches on women, facho, among others. This gentleman, always drunk no matter the time of the day, has verbally assaulted me on several occasions as well as my 2-year-old son and this very violently. It is time to say that yes the bistro could be perfect if it was another manager. The truth must be restored, the manager is a character who wants to be sympathetic at first but you only have to come regularly to see the problems that he can have and notice that his chef works seven days a week, who cooks, does the service and the cashing of the customers when his own boss is not in possession of his means.
I discovered the Bar Bistrot a few months ago. The frame is really top, and food reflects the high level of know-how of the cook. I have been there several times in recent months and have never been disappointed with the dishes. Only, I also met the manager. I was very soon uncomfortable because I saw him all the time with a glass of alcohol in my hand and that whatever time. He distracts misogynistic and very raw remarks to see virulent women in front of customers. I also saw it, with a high alcohol level, grunting children!!! who play calmly, in order to scare them. These behaviours have caused him to lose many customers so far. Since most of the time not in full possession of these means, the manager shouts after the cook to take orders, serve and cash customers in addition to his usual work. Knowing the cook, I also see that Marc has been manipulating him for years and enjoying his kindness. The great daily alcohol consumption of the manager digs the crate of the restaurant little by little and today he would like to bring the hat to his faithful cook who is honesty and a rare loyalty. It is really a shame to get there for a place that would have everything to work. I believe it is important today that the truth be revealed, and I know that I am not the only one to be of this opinion.
Let’s start with the beginning, the previous commentaries want to say everything, it’s true that the kitchen and the service are irreproachable, but true that the boss is a real ...... this restaurant turns thanks to its always professional staff. If I can afford here because Google blocks me how a boss can make his cook work every day noon and night and without rest. The laws are or in this establishment ... we will come back just for the right kitchen and not for the rest ...
