The service at this restaurant was excellent, with friendly and efficient staff. The food was good overall, with no major complaints but nothing particularly outstanding either. However, what really stood out was the noise level, which unfortunately detracted from our experience. We visited during the busy lunch hour on a Friday and had to wait about 10-15 minutes for a table, which was understandable given the crowds. However, the restaurant was filled to capacity and the noise level was quite high, reaching around 84 decibels according to my Apple Watch. This level of noise can be harmful over time. Thankfully, it did quiet down slightly by the time we left, but it was still a relief to exit the restaurant.
Other day that I had to come back for dinner. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. I highly recommend trying the burgers and the loaded fries. Overall, a great spot for all-day dining.
I have dined at the Blue Ridge Grill several times for both breakfast and dinner. I recently had their Fried Fish dinner for dinner and I highly recommend it. Their breakfast is also very good, however I rated them 4 stars because of the waitress. My order was incorrect and my bacon was undercooked. I mentioned this as I was leaving and the manager was very nice and apologetic. She comped that part of the bill even though I offered to pay for it. She insisted on removing it from the bill.
The food was so amazing that we ate there twice during our stay in Rochester. Huge portions, perfectly cooked, and an amazing value. The place was packed, but it's worth the wait. Both breakfast and lunch were fabulous and even my friend who is a pescatarian found many options. Service was friendly and prompt. This is a must try!
