Osaka Seafood Steakhouse - Rochester

Our dinner began with a mediocre soup and salad, but the real highlight was when the grill was fired up, and the chef started the entertaining cooking of various meats and seafood. Our chef was exceptionally skilled: he cooked everything to perfection, tossed broccoli florets into our mouths with remarkable precision, and even sprayed sake into our mouths at the end of the meal with impressive aim. I give him five stars. I would definitely return here for a birthday celebration. The restaurant plays great music, and the birthday guest gets to wear fun masks. I'm not sure if our slow seating was a one-time issue, whether irregularly sized groups (of 3 to 6) get seated more slowly, or what the reason was, but I would happily return to this restaurant for the overall experience.

The sushi and hibachi are both excellent, and I especially love the rainbow roll. However, I've noticed that the service at the front desk can be inconsistent at times.

This was my first experience at this type of restaurant, and it was a mixed bag. We did have to wait for a while, and I wasn't very impressed with our server. She neglected to bring us the sushi we ordered and seemed rather distant. Fortunately, our 2-year-old and 5-year-old were unusually well-behaved during the hour-long wait for our chef. Once he arrived, however, everything changed for the better! He was entertaining and made both us and the strangers at our table feel relaxed and enjoy ourselves. Our 5-year-old was in stitches from his antics! It was wonderful how he included everyone in the experience, and the food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be returning as soon as we can, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun outing! What an enjoyable time we had!

We celebrated a coworker's birthday at a hibachi restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, and the service was both quick and friendly. The performance was entertaining, and the drinks were excellent. I highly recommend giving this place a try. I've also been there for sushi before, and it was quite good as well.

I visited this restaurant for lunch once and I definitely plan to return. They offer a good variety of dishes at a fair price, and the quality is impressive. I later returned for dinner, and the service was outstanding. Just a heads-up about the steak entrees: they come pre-cut into cubes, so don’t expect a large slab of meat. However, it was still excellent. The staff was timely and extremely polite, and we were even honored with a visit from the chef, who invited us to sample some of their dinner offerings!
