Pontillo's Pizzeria - Rochester

I was highly disappointed with this restaurant. They cut their round pizzas into squares, and charged $24 for a large pizza that was missing cheese and toppings on part of it. Additionally, part of the crust was burnt.

I love their pizza. I always order a medium cheese and pepperoni. It's always delicious, hot, and delivered promptly.

I didn't enjoy the pizza at all, neither the crust nor the sauce. However, the wings were delicious. They were extra large and full of flavor, although they could have been cooked a bit longer. I would definitely order the wings again and request them to be cooked well-done.

The most horrifying wings I?ve ever had! They were rubbery as hell, raw and the taste/smell of garlic was over powering. I asked for half Cajun I assume dry rub) and other half sweet and sour. Not sure what was happening upon opening the container. Wingswere mushy and the brown sauce on top was impossible to identify. Needless to say, we washed the wings off and cooked themlonger in the deep fryer? they were still super rubbery. 5 out of the 15 were eaten and the rest went to the trash. Won?t beordering Wings from here again. Stick with the pizza as it seems to be their speciality.

I?ve had pontillos before, in Canandaigua, and have always enjoyed it. This was the first time ordering from the lake ave location and we weren?t too impressed. The square cut wasn?t expected, as the location we?ve eaten from previously did pieslices. We know to ask for that in the future, not the biggest deal. However, the toppings and cheese all slid to the middle ofthe pie and it left a good 3-4? of just dough and sauce around the outside, with a sloppy mess of toppings pooled in the center.Wasn?t very enjoyable to eat. We?ll probably stick to Carbones from now on.
