We went for a business get together (party of 15) we made reservation for 5:00pm , as soon as we arrive the waitress told us we have till 7:00pm to leave, and then she started rushing us even when not everyone was there yet. She was very rude and pushy. one of my co workers arrived late, and they didnt allowed her to join the group. I didnt know that until next day coworker told us. that is very disrespectful. Business like that shouldn't exist .
Great atmosphere. Not loud. Friendly and helpful service. Food was fantastic. I had liverwurst and German potato salad. Yummy
Tonight was my first time at Rohrbach, initially I was excited to try it out but I was sorely disappointed. I came with a party of 4 later in the evening and we were promptly seated. The ambiance was a bit off mostly because the booth we were seated in was wobbly on both sides and the service was very lackluster and inattentive throughout. My party ordered a few glasses of beer to try and the pretzel appetizer. We all enjoyed our beer options but the pretzel was disappointing. It was very dry with no butter and salt. The beer cheese was very gross, it tasted so burnt like someone dumped charcoal in it, we could even smell a burnt smell. The entrees were underwhelming and took awhile to come out. One person in my party got the Buffalo Mac n cheese and unfortunately this had the exact same burnt cheese taste that it was completely edible. I guess they use the same cheese batch or beer cheese and Mac n cheese? I got the schnitzel sandwich and a cup of white chili. It was just okay, nothing spectacular and the cup of chili was very small for a $4 up charge for this particular side. Two others in my party got the German sampler which was also just okay and the sausages tasted cheap. The only dish that was good was the German pancakes. Our server was inattentive throughout and didn't refill our water or as us if we wanted beer refills. We had to chase down another waitress and someone working at the bar to get our check and pay because it was getting so late and near closing. Overall the food and serve were beyond disappointing and I'd only ever come back for a beer.
The wait staff were friendly and welcoming. We ordered chicken French bites, fried pierogis and chipotle BLT. The chicken French bites were a huge disappointment. I made the assumption it would be chicken French in small bites.. these were boneless chicken wings tossed in chicken French sauce. Sauce was amazing but the crunchy chicken didn't quite fit the way chicken French tastes. There is no breading in chicken French. Chicken French is chicken dipped in flour and egg then fried. If you want boneless chicken wings in French sauce then get them. The pierogis were delicious! I would have been happy just having these for a full meal. I would return for these. We also had chipotle chicken BLT. The sandwich was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. Highly suggest. The waitress was amazing and it was a wonderful lunch. Next time I will just skip the chicken French bites.
