Zoet - Rochester

This is for those who don't mind spending a few dollars on a single piece of candy because not only it is handmade, has unique flavor (like basil or matcha, come on! , but the chocolates themselves are pieces of art and it's almost a crime to eat them. Such a graceful gift or a way to treat yourself! The shop is very cute, the set-up is cozy. They have a great choice of coffee and tea. The owner is very nice and you can watch her working her magic right here at the workshop behind the glass window. Can't wait to come back!

The Belgian waffles at Zoet are amazing! It is also fun to see the chocolates being made while sitting in their dining area. Mmmmmmm.

This is a gem hidden on a side street of downtown Rochester. You enter into the chocolate store but just around the corner is a cozy restaurant. You can watch chocolates being made while you sip on your hot beverage which comes with a chocolate. The menu is filled with deliciousness. The waffles are light and fluffy made on a real Belgium waffle maker. The ham and cheese croissant was so delicious. The cheese was fresh mozz and the ham was thin shaved. Perfect. The owner/chocolatier is the a hidden asset of this restaurant she comes out and talks to the customers. Seriously recommend Do not miss.
