As a first-time patron, I was unsure of what to order and decided on a spicy chicken dish that resembled a spicier version of General Tso's chicken. Although it was a dry rub with no sauce, it was delicious. I plan on trying a noodle dish next time, as noodles are a specialty. This has been the best Asian cuisine I have had in Rochester so far. As a newcomer to the area, finding good Asian food has been a challenge. I appreciated that everything was cooked to order and very fresh. I was impressed to see the chef chopping vegetables as he cooked, ensuring the ingredients were freshly prepared. The only reason I have not returned is due to the limited parking and the distance from my home, making it challenging to bring the food back while still hot. Despite these challenges, I recommend this restaurant.
While passing through Rochester, we decided to pick up some food on the go as we were traveling with our dogs and didn't want to leave them alone in the car. This place turned out to be a delightful surprise! Ordering online was simple and the food was fantastic. We ordered steamed curry chicken and spicy chicken dumplings, both of which were filled with meat and incredibly flavorful. The spicy chicken buns were also exceptional, with the perfect combination of flavors between the gochujang, sweet bun, and savory chicken. I wish I lived in Rochester so I could eat here all the time!
Disappointed. I was exhausted and famished, and for $25, I thought the pad thai and spring rolls would hit the spot. Unfortunately, both rolls were torn open and the sauce was overly oily and greasy. The pad thai had a gritty texture, tasting like sand. I hate not finishing my food, but this meal felt like it was made with Durand Eastman as the main ingredient.
Man, I hove Han Noodle! Nothing from their menu disappoints. I can't wait for them to have sit-down again, but takeout does for now. Personally a big fan of their pork dumplings. The bao are very good, too. I often add extra veggies to whatever I order. A good spot for vegetarian options!
Not the place you'd go to for just fried rice, but I order pork fried rice regularly- pick up or delivery. Had some snobby foodies visiting from CA , who ordered nearly everything on the menu and THEY loved everything. This has never happened before! Thank you, Han Noodle bar.
