Denny's - Rock Hill

Why does this restaurant have more than 3 stars??? The wait for food is awful. 45 minutes for breakfast??? The restaurant isn't even crowded. The wait staff moves slow and looks tired. There is no one at the front to take to-go orders. Customers are not greeted or seated. This place should not be operating.

It was very chilly in there. Coffee was bitter, and my plate was served so hot that I couldn't touch it. I have eaten there often and had no complaints. Today was totally different.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at any Denny's location. I observed others, who were most likely given priority due to their race, being served before me even though they arrived after me. After waiting for over an hour with no explanation, and seeing people who came in after me already eating, I decided to leave.

While traveling and needing to refuel, we decided to stop at a truck stop with a Denny's restaurant. Upon arrival, we were greeted by two waitresses in a nearly empty establishment. I ordered the country chicken steak with diced potatoes, but was disappointed to find that the cook had double-fried the breaded chicken steaks, resulting in a very dark and overcooked meal. The two patties were then smothered in gravy sauce. I did not see a manager on duty, only the two ladies working in the restaurant. If you are hungry, I would suggest moving on to another location for your next meal. Unfortunately, I fell ill shortly after and had to stop at another truck station to pick up some Pepto and Alka-Seltzer.

Always good food here and depending on who's working great service. I always get the super slam or a burger here and it's always good and sometimes really great.
