Tequila Family Mexican Restaurant

Just drove by, sad to report that the restaurant is closed. Went to the door hoping that they moved to another location, however, there was no sign. Seems like nothing else will open there antyime soon, building is just abandoned. Happened to meet an ex-waitress elsewhere she told me that owner closed it without warning, employees were told last minute with no explanation.

Tequila's remains an absolute must in my local Mexican cuisine rotation. The food and service have always been on point each and every time I have visited, without exception. In my opinion, they have the absolute best salsa and Sopa de Pollo in the area, hands down, no exaggeration. Tequila's has a great atmosphere with spacious accomodations for entertaining small parties or large groups without issue, with fast, friendly and efficient waitstaff, and even better food! The aforementioned has always remained consistent for me over the years and always keeps keep coming back for more!

Our go to Mexican restaurant. Always quick, good service. The salsa is the best of anywhere (if you like a little kick) and the food is always phenomenal.

The beans were so greasy and my quesadilla was in the beans when I opened it up. Disappointed in the lunch special.

This place is the best Mexican spot my wife and i have tried in Rock Hill since we moved here 2 months ago. The service, food, drinks, and price all get 5 stars from me! This will be our go-to spot from now on!
