Rice, chicken or beef teriyaki, mac salad, assortment of chips and drinks. I thought the price was right and the a meat generous amount. Delicious! Also, the owner was super nice and had great customer service. The wait time for food is very short! Note for the diehard foodie or true Islander: you may not think it is authentic . My Hawaiian husband would have nit picked over the rice. But for most everyone else, it will be just delicious.
Food was good, overall. Chicken and macaroni salad were not too exciting, not bad, however not memorable either. However the pork and slaw were really very good. The option of spicy teriyaki was appreciated as well. Portions were large and plenty. The online ordering was easy and food was ready on time. I'd recommend using the online ordering during supper hours as the lineup/queue gets long and confusing. We're just tourists here, but explore our state quite a bit and will be back.
I got the pulled pork sandwich. D E L I C I O U S! It has Hawaiian teriyaki mixed in… definitely the best pulled pork I’ve had. My only suggestion would be for the coleslaw to come in a little container with the meal or just have it as an option for costumers.
Coming from a traveler who appreciates good food, this place is great! Had the pork and chicken plate. The flavor was excellent and the portions were generous.
