Oriental Kitchen - Rockdale

This place was amazing! One of us ordered Singapore noodles which was amazing especially when asked for the spicy option! . I ordered the sesame chicken on the “lunch specials” for a discounted price. It came with sesame chicken obviously , a ball of rice, an egg roll, and your choice of soup. Everything was delicious, but my wonton soup was not that great though that is nothing to bicker about . Overall, this destination was very good choice.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The service was excellent, and the food was served hot and exactly as I had hoped. I dined in for lunch, and the price per person was between $10 and $20. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Chinese Donuts and Chicken Lo Mein!

I placed a takeout order and called ahead, but when I arrived, there were only two tables occupied. The waitress continued to attend to those customers, going into the kitchen twice without acknowledging me or my food, which was just sitting there waiting. I hoped she would notice me, so I went to the restroom, but when I returned and stood at the register, I was still ignored. This happened several times before I eventually managed to get their attention.

I keep telling myself I should give Oriental Kitchen another chance, but I'm always disappointed with the food quality. The orange chicken was overcooked, and the fried rice tasted like it was leftover from four days ago. It was disgusting! I really wouldn't recommend going here.

The food was surprisingly good for a buffet-style restaurant. I would have preferred more ingredients in the fried rice, but overall, it was an enjoyable experience.
