#1 Oriental Buffet - Rockford

I have been coming to this restaurant for about 4 years now (since I moved here), and I always enjoy the affordable buffet that is consistently stocked with a variety of dishes that I enjoy. It always makes me happy!

This restaurant may appear small from the outside, but it is surprisingly spacious once you step inside. While it may not be a super buffet, it offers enough variety to satisfy diners. The food was tasty and fresh, meeting all expectations for a buffet. However, one issue that should be addressed is the large mirror in the back which requires a more thorough cleaning, as only part of it appeared to be clean.

I've been eating here for over twenty years, and I'm coming back, but not more than a few times a year. it is not the best restaurant in the city on any wise. eating is in order, but I don't think it's super (at least in the last time) though it's my sohn favorite restaurant. To be fair, this business model requires a certain level of traffic to work at peak performance, and with the pandemic problems, which is now quite difficult to do. I like that they go and sit right now and that there are a lot of food to please everyone. beside the expected Asian cuisine there are also fish, pizza, chickenuggets and other options. the variety makes it nice for any group that wants to go together without really agreeing on the menu. I was here with many different groups and no one has starved. the children like the fish tank.

Friendly staff and good parking are the 2 stars! Cost too high for options available! Too many spicy and seafood options not enough regular items. Crab ragoon was AWFUL! To me crab ragoon is the deciding factor in a good vs bad buffet.

This is the last time I'll ever eat at Oriental buffet. I just have gotten to that age that I realized that the food at these places is disgusting. This particular place was okay. But the restaurant itself is very foul. Dirty. I'll stick with genuine authentic food from now on.
