Alvarez Mexican - Rockford

We had a fantastic time at the restaurant and the food was delicious. We will definitely return.

The Mexican cuisine at this restaurant is excellent, with great service and delicious mango margaritas. We enjoyed the salsa and fresh homemade chips, and I highly recommend trying the quesadillas - just be warned, you might end up eating too much!

The service was fast and friendly, thanks to Hector! The guacamole with chips was really delicious. I tried the pastor Tacos(3) and they were very flavorful and tender, served with refried beans and rice. And of course, I couldn't resist the Herradura margarita - it was a real gem.

Service was fine, but the food was bland. No spice at all and the salsa was almost like tomato sauce. Could be good if they spiced things up better.

Food had no flavor, was hoping for some good Mexican spice. I want even sure if it was chicken. The wait staff was nice though.
