Fresco At The Gardens - Rockford

The best lobster roll I have ever had. Every bite tasted like fresh seafood I ate ever bit of the crunchy roll it was served in. Presentation was beautiful with homemade seasoned chips even a fresh flower!

Wonderful...peaceful...full of kind staff! The chefs are top shelf!

The food was very good. The only perplexing thing was one would expect that if a restaurant opened for breakfast at 8am, you wouldn't need to wait for a cup of coffee (with a 8:15 reservation) because it was still brewing.

The wonderful view of the Japanese Gardens was only eclipsed by the fabulous food. Three of us had the veggie frittata. Our entire party was pleased with the taste, presentation and temperature of the foods. The beverages were appreciated, too. One member of our group didn’t see hot chocolate on the menu, but when he asked for it, they supplied a large, luscious looking version.

MY SISTER AND I HAD A WONDERFUL LUNCH AT FRESCO! THE FOOD WAS GOOD, THE GARDENS SPARKLED AS USUAL EVEN WITH THE CLOUDY AND RAINY DAY! WE WERE PROBABLY THE LAST TO BE SEATED AND WE FELT LIKE WE DIDN'T RECEIVE THE LEVEL OF SERVICE AND KINDNESS WE WOULD HAVE EXPECTED FROM OUR SERVER AND THE FRONT DESK STAFF. WE WLL RETURN, HOW CAN WE NOT WITH THE GARDENS BEING SO BEAUTIFUL, AND HOPEFULLY OUR SERVICE WILL SPARKLE TOO!
