The burgers were delectable, the beer was ice cold, and the service was friendly and attentive. The interior was bright, clean, and inviting. I will definitely be returning in the future.
I've eaten here some time ago and I don't remember being a standout... but recently I was a few times and the food was excellent. The reef fish and vegetables is delightful and my companion seafood dish was also good, the shrimps can have frozen and baked. The staff is friendly and helpful. Really delightful food.
Went here for dinner with family and friends recently and I ordered a rump steak chips and salad. Melt in your mouth and tender steak, salad was average and chips were served in a trendy tiny chip basket. Dining area was spotless, service was friendly and...prompt, our group and another of 6 people were the only dining on a Saturday night. Members draws between 6 and 8 Saturdays with a cash prize currently at $2500, win by swiping members card (which is free) and then they spin a big wheel for other cash prizes during the night until 8. Fun times with a few poker machines and regular patrons. Old historical pub that has had a million dollar plus refurb a few years ago. Quiet Saturday evening, no yobbos around, relaxed casual vibe, with good staff, cold beer and reasonably priced meals. Female bar manager was lovely, playing funny faces with our little daughter too.The pic is an entree of bruschetta, fresh and tasty.
Quick lunch recently was just what I needed. Quick, friendly service; fresh, tasty food and very inexpensive $12). Recommend this place highly for a quick lunch. My meal chicken stack) was fresh, just the right size and tasty.
The restaurant is a small room next to the bar and gaming room. The atmosphere is like any other tavern or pub, but very clean and tidy. There are seats for 20 people (give or take and is quite cozy. You order from a counter...connected to the kitchen; there were limited staff but service was prompt. I ordered the pork belly and a sticky date pudding. Both were tasty, but I cannot fairly expand on this as I'd never tried pork belly before. The crackling was great at least, as were the chips I had as a side. The pudding was a decent serving size (big ol' slab, hooray! and was not of the mass produced variety. Served with ice cream and whipped cream with what I think was grated white chocolate I hoed it all down too fast to tell. Overall the experience was very average nothing wrong but nothing perfect either. But the price matched very well and I'd happily eat there again. An extra note the attached Gaming room looked quite extensive if you are into that I would definitely recommend this venue.
