Rozzi's Italian Canteen - Rockhampton

Waiting to go to the local movies dropped in for a coffee and breaky, great range of counter food plus a excellent all day menu. Very good coffee and friendly staff check out their weekly pizza specials.

Went there for lunch this week. Only two other couples were there so we thought we'd get a nice table. We placed our orders then had difficulty getting a table as most of them hadn't been cleared from the last customers. My wife's pasta was okay - she wasn't too sure how many times it had been reheated but believed it would have been nice when it was fresh. My Calamari and salad consisted of nice Calamari and a "salad" that was 95% cabbage. Hint: slicing up half a tomato and throwing it onto a plate of coleslaw does not a salad make. I had to ask about getting our drink orders to the table before we finished out meals. Oh, and by the time we left, the other tables still hadn't been cleaned.

I'm not sure why this place isn't busier. I've had a few meals from here and always found the food to be good and prices reasonable. The pizza is more like a traditional Italian than Dominos, with chewy base and flavoursome toppings that aren't too thick. Salads are lovely and fresh.Service is quick and friendly- and the best part is that you can get a table right away. Definitely worth checking out.

Visited here before going to the movies with my wife. Good size portions, we shared a main meal with a regular salad on the side, Good verity of salads, pizza and other treats. Pretty well priced as well

We gave this place 2 chances and unfortunately received below average experiences on both occasions.The good points that Rozzi's provide is good friendly fast service, nice layout of restaurant and clean. But unfortunately you get poor value for money, the food is not worth the price for the quality you receive. We've tried the pizzas and the pasta, and I'll say the pasta tasted somewhat good (Hawaiian and a nemo pizza) but the quantity of toppings on the pizzas were below average to average standard. Not impressed. We decided to return to try the pasta and was disappointed beyond belief. Pasta sauce should not be flavoured water. The quality of our meals was a sad way to blow $60. We'd much prefer to dine at Schnitz just a couple doors away, anytime and won't be back to Rozzi's anytime soon.
