Golden Chick - Rockport

I visited this restaurant after a great day at the beach, and it was exactly what I needed. The tenders were delicious, and I really appreciated getting a free ice cream cone as a little dessert. I would definitely come back!

The only positive aspect of our experience was the door dasher. Unfortunately, my wife and I both ended up getting sick—she even had to miss a day of work, and I barely managed to get through mine. The food was overpriced and some items were missing. Then there was the issue of us getting sick; it felt like something was off. I had one leg of chicken and she had two tenders, and within 45 minutes, we were both done for. I sent an email to the head office but haven’t received a response yet, and that was on September 11, 2023. If you’ve had a similar experience, I encourage you to let them know. We spent over $36 on two meals, and I mean it literally went down the toilet.

Food is great.... But all the workers are on drugs and just plane flat out don't listen.

Just moved here thought we would try it never heard of this place before. The chicken was OK one of my pieces was a little under cooked. Ordered two side was told I would have to pay for ranch for my fried okra. But the reason I took the time to write this review is because while we were sitting in there we watched the lady take the ice cover of the soda machine let it hit the dirty floor put ice in the soda machine and put it right back on.
