There have been numerous complaints about the staff being rude. During my visit, however, the two teenagers at the counter were friendly and efficient. Last winter, though, I encountered a very different experience. I arrived at the restaurant about an hour before closing and found it nearly empty. The two employees at the counter completely ignored me as they engaged in a personal conversation. After a few minutes without being acknowledged, I left without having been served. So why two stars? They are open year-round, and I did enjoy a decent meatball sub on one occasion. This place really needs some competition. Is anyone interested in opening another pizza place in Rockport?

I can't understand why someone had a negative experience at Rockport House of Pizza and chose to complain instead of simply asking for a replacement, which I know they would have gladly provided. My husband and I have always had wonderful experiences there. He absolutely loves their calzones, and I like to try different items on the menu. Today, I ordered a grilled cheese with bacon, and it was outstanding—hands down the best grilled cheese I've ever had, and I've been enjoying them for 58 years! It was so filling that I saved half for tomorrow, especially since I had some of their delicious fried pickles on the side. The staff is fantastic—always friendly on the phone—and Andrew, the delivery guy, is incredibly fast. We know Andrew, so we might be a bit biased, but he's great! The prices are very reasonable too. If you come across that one-star review from the disgruntled customer, just ignore it so you don't miss out on this amazing place!
