Large small place with good food and even better service. We had cousins who came from Sweden, and we took them here, got their picture in front, they took everything over our dinner there! The only thing Shempy's bad is that we can't get enough!
The food was great, like Yam. The Portobello mushroom stripe appetizer was delicious, I would come back for them alone. We decided to share the seafood plate between us. It's a lot of food and delicious. The fried fish and shrimps are good and the crab patty was wonderful.
The 9 ounces ordered hamburgers, cut in half and it was juicy and very good! It was big enough for me and my wife and we also ordered onion rings. The OR was small and did not appear handmade. Even they weren't hot and I'd rate them a 2-star. They had Bread Putting and the waitress broke on it! Not like that! It was not tasty at all and it seemed like the top was hot and the bottom was cool to the touch. No sauce was served. This is a little hole in the wall place that is warm and cozy! Only if you leave your attitude at the curb. The servers are awesome- friendly, attentive, and helpful. The food!!!!? My calamari was tender and crunchy the best I've had! Hobbies fish was a big serving, flaky, and oh, so good!!! Go here for! You won't regret it!
