The food was excellent and we had quick service through the waiter who was very attentive and polite. I had the manicotti and my wife and daughter both had the pasta with vodka sauce. We will definitely return in the near future.
This was our first time when eating in Baronessa and we loved the experience! We'll be back. The service was amazing, the food was very delicious, and the prices were reasonable. The restaurant has an elegant and local feeling, it with the beautiful murals of Italy. Kudos to Owner/Chef Angel and his team about the wonderful culinary experience they have created.
The first time here. Ordnete the Bruschetta as an appetizer and was pleasantly surprised how fluffy and crispy the bread was, nor was it soggy. The bread basket was also delicious. For the main course I ordered the Seafood Risotto, which comes with Jumbo Shrimps. They were huge, 5 pieces for the whole dish. I prefer more variety like shells and scallops, but it did the job. It was a little to split onions, tomatoes were too big, and mushrooms. It disturbed the soft texture I love in Risotto, but none of the less was still delicious. My partner had lunch aubergines Parmesan and let me taste a bite and I preferred it over my own dish! The marinara was light and tasty, and the eggplant was soft and not too oily with the satisfying bread crumbs. Can't wait to eat the remains at home.
I had no pizza in a while. I drive after a living, and bless good quality Italian food all once in a while. I read Baronessas' positive reviews and thought I'd give him a shot. I ordered her oven Angelos special pizza. When the food was handed over to me, I thought it was a mistake. The box was too small for a $18 dinner size pizza. I saw in and this sweet little guy whipped me. The pizza was hot and fresh, ingredients were quality as advertised. In terms of taste and texture, easily one of the better slices of pizza I ever had. I understand that times have changed and costs are rising. It seems that at this price they could make a somewhat bigger pizza. I'll be back, maybe try some other lunch deals.
Stopped in while in the Rockville area. Super low-key place. Service was nice, ambiance was casual. The complementary bread was not great. That being said, got the margherita and mushroom pizza. They were excellent. Outstanding crust and tasted authentic. I would highly recommend stopping in for the pizza if you want quick, high quality pizza in a highly casual environment.
