They always smell to customers and feel so welcome. Although the restaurant decoration is a small old fashion, everything is so clean and organized. Very recommended.
This is my favorite place of Sichuanes in DC, and I was in a lot of them. I especially recommend their Home Style Tofu, their Sichuanese String Bean and their Stuffed Tofu and vegetable balls. (I am vegetarian, and also not looking at the menu now, so the names are approximate. A standout even in a neighborhood full of fantastic restaurants.
This restaurant was there forever and with good reason! The decor won 'twin all prices, but the food is excellent if you know what to order. When I read the complaint of another reviewer about the lack of authenticity of his general Tso chicken, I was snoring. This is a Sichuan restaurant, which means spicy food. The spicy beef and noodles are particularly good, you can call your desired level of spice. I think the noodles are made fresh every day. Although not a Sichuan court, the Beijing-style shredded pig is my personal favorite. The taste is unique and satisfying. A great place to eat when you know what to order.
I ate here with a local Chinese co-worker at noon, largely based on their recommendation. My belief was well placed one of the best Chinese restaurants that I had to taste the food fortune. I would recommend looking at the rather simple decor and focusing on the selection from their extended menu.
Excellent food and very friendly service. I was also amazed by how quickly I received my food. I have seen cleaner bathrooms, but I didn't find them dirty to the point of being any concern. I would highly recommend.
