So I enjoy the food. The only thing I would say is that everything was smaller than other Mexican places where I was. From drinks to food. I noticed everything was on the side of the Sizier and a little expensive. I like spicy, but the salsa that came with the chips was a bit sharp for the kids. The Enchiladas and Fajitas also had a kick. All right. We didn't have to wait to take a seat, even if we moved and saw the parking lot. We thought it was a long wait. They also gave the children a push-pop as a dessert that automatically comes with the children meals.
I now wait at three separate locations in three separate states and have a bad meal. Today we had Burritos Chicken and Steak and Fajitas for a starter that we shared a bowl of taco soup. As always, everything was delicious we especially love the creamy ranch jalapeno diving. My wife loves it so much that she even bought a container to go home. The staff at Chuy's is always friendly and will make you feel at home. we definitely enjoyed the location in Rockville and we will be back soon when we arrive our next trip to DC.
Chuy 's Tex-Mex restaurant has excellent food, but the service is missing something. I would have given it 5 stars, with the exception of the lack of reliable setting of a server, who is requesting my group to extra napkins directly at the bat (he is just going to visit another table... we'll call him back after a while and remind him... no excuses are offered. (The management wants the crew to hold a meeting on PR. It's our first time here, so I'm not sure if they really don't give customers individual small plates for their appetizers. Your appetizer platter is really good and very filling, but since we 't have small plates it is expected to be fast around the table unorderly (we end up with a lot of napkins. Personally, I'm not a big fan of Tex-Mex cuisine, but I can say that I find Chuy's food to be scrupulous. Prices are reasonable. The place feels like at home because of the old pictures on the wall. There is a feeling of familiar clutter in VERY colorful interior and its collection of knick knacks, baubles and trifle. The ambience is not one of sterilized chicness... it really feels cozy. I recommend Chuy 's for his good food (we are there at noon on a Wednesday... the food service is pretty fast. Let's hope you get a more attentive server.
The best option for TexMex here in Maryland. We told the manager that we’ve been here in Maryland for about a year and we’re from Texas. We have Chuy’s in San Antonio, Texas but we’ve never been because we have authentic Mexican restaurants. So we were skeptical coming here but I really feel like this is a great alternative. Friendly staff which is unheard of here in Maryland. Great atmosphere. Also, the bathrooms are really clean!
