Krispy Kreme - Rockville

My son asked for donuts for his 6th birthday party, so I knew we had to come here because they have always been the best among the big donut chains. I was thrilled to discover that they now offer mini donuts! I was especially pleased to see that they had basic iced and sprinkled options. I was sold right away. The kids loved the donuts, and more importantly, I enjoyed them too! They really hit the spot. Their donuts are always so light and fluffy, unlike anything I've found elsewhere. My personal favorite is the chocolate icing with sprinkles.

Absolutely excellent! This is the cleanest restaurant I’ve ever encountered. I arrived at 3:15, and every employee was actively cleaning. From the production team washing down the glazing conveyor to the cashiers scrubbing the coffee machines, there wasn’t a single person slacking off. It was impressive to see. The display case was perfectly stocked with donuts, every table was wiped down, all chairs neatly pushed in, and the napkins were neatly arranged. If they can maintain such a high standard of cleanliness, I have no doubt they can make delicious donuts – and they certainly delivered!

The donuts are overly sweet. They aren't bad, but I wouldn't recommend returning. The service left much to be desired; the staff seemed awkward and struggled with greeting and communicating with customers. Additionally, their frozen drink machine was out of order. I even saw another customer pouring their coffee out in the parking lot. This is the last Krispy Kreme in the area, and given how it's currently managed, I wouldn't be surprised if it closed down as well. The factory where they make the donuts is interesting, but I wish there was a schedule available to inform customers when fresh donuts will be ready.

OMG! This place is the bomb?? the donuts are always fresh. I always eat more than i have in mind. They practically melt in your mouth. Their plain coffee is also one of the best I have had. Tasty and fun! My favorite doughnuts are the Chocolate iced custard filled (Boston Cream) and Jelly filled. The special doughnuts are always fun to bring home and try with the family. The new Easter special were not as filled as I would like, but enjoyed the size and chance to try something new at Krispy Kreme!
