Kung Fu Tea - Rockville

Great choice for bubble tea in Rockville! The bubbles are fresh and delicious. Parking can be tricky, but they offer validation for a nearby lot. Their pineapple green tea is perfect for a hot day, complete with refreshing chunks of pineapple. However, they often seem overwhelmed by their own popularity, leading to a busy counter and limited space for customers to line up comfortably. Adding a second cash register could help ease this issue, especially since they currently use a tablet setup that takes up minimal counter space. I also share the sentiment expressed by another reviewer regarding the automated tip requests alongside the less-than-efficient service at the counter—it's a bit frustrating.

The tea was good. Everyone was nice. But the wait is unreasonably long to only serve drinks. Ahhhhh, why does it take 10 minutes to get a couple of teas. Really? There is no close parking, where are customers supposed to wait? There is underground parking they will validate, but that shouldn?t be necessary. And there is a .50 charge to have tapioca balls in the tea, not extra tapioca balls, any tapioca balls. Isn?t that a standard part of the drink?

The location is nice if you live in the area and you?re able to walk because there?s not a lot of parking available. I enjoyed my lychee punch. It wasn?t too sweet and I like the added fruit. Some of the other drinks were super sweet like the mango with mango jelly.

I've enjoyed everything I've tried at this restaurant; the flavors are fantastic. The staff is quick and friendly, which is a big plus. The selection at Kung Fu Tea is unique and enjoyable to explore, although it does have its limitations. I attempted to customize some tea flavors, but unfortunately, they weren't able to accommodate my requests.

We visited this restaurant late one night and found it quite busy for a Thursday. We tried the Milk Oolong tea with boba, Mango Snow with boba, Coffee Milk tea with boba, and Oreo Milk tea with boba, and we enjoyed all of them. They offer an extensive menu of hot and cold teas, and I highly recommend trying them for yourself!
