Live Crawfish Seafood - Rockville

The seafood here is incredibly fresh! The mussels are large, the lobster is juicy, and you can choose your spices (we had Old Bay) and spice levels. We had a great time cracking open the blue crabs, which were all male and medium-sized, offered at a fantastic price of $30 for half a dozen. The cart was impressive. However, I would probably avoid ordering the soft crab appetizers from here next time.

LIVE CRAWFISH!!! I just have to say, the sauce is excellent. The flavor reminded me of a homemade recipe, and you can also get the spicy sauce on the side, which has a nice kick. This place also features amazing daily specials!

We are here several times and while we love food, the service needs improvement. We were both here when it's busy and when it's slow. No matter, but every time the service is painfully slow. We have forgotten our orders, and many things are brought out at different times, which makes it hard to eat with big groups. I was hoping that this would improve as they became more established, but it only worsened. The food is great. Probably the best seafood in MoCo. We always get the blue crabs, snow crabs and shrimps. They have some really great deals on the blue crabs, so they often sell out. But if you're lucky and smiling, they're delicious. The seafood was always quite fresh, especially for a place from the water. We'll make the house taste. Spacious space with a bar and spacious seating. Obviously they are open and do jobs during Covid19, but I couldn't get through any of the times I called.

I really wanted to like this place, but they missed a few things from the menu. My family and I split a dozen oysters, snow crabs and the premiere combo medium spice with taste bomb. The crabs and oysters were delicious. The spices themselves tasted like a lot of oil and butter. Food is cheap here, but I feel that you can get better seafood options that drive a lil further to VA. Service here was great as the servers were very well informed about the menu and what was in the season. All personnel wear masks/hand shoes, tables are 6 ft apart and have sanitary stations. Not sure what the right phone number is or if they have another line, but the number on Yelp always has a busy tone

They finally re-opened yesterday for dine-in! There was a special for their reopening, buy 3 lbs. get 1 free. I really liked their crawfish, snow crabs and mussels—I would recommend the flavor bomb flavor for the crawfish and garlic butter flavor for crabs and mussels. Prices are reasonable here for their seafood. Masks are required and plastic silverware, bibs and gloves are given. Service was good—they were attentive and friendly! There were not too many people there for dinner, so I was a little confused why they kept sitting new patrons at tables near one another when the restaurant had plenty more available tables farther apart.
