Mamma Lucia - Rockville

The bar was so welcoming for a new comer in the area. Victoria suggested the carbonara and it was phenomenal, I’m not from the area but i’ll definitely be back when I visit. 10/10

My family came out to mama Lucia’s in shady grove after being apart for some time. Our waitress Michelle is truly worth her weight in gold. She went above and beyond to make the experience the most enjoyable for all of us (even with a medical emergency in the kitchen) We will be returning not just for the great food but also specifically to dine with Michelle again. Taylor and family.

Ordered Stromboli and Shrimp Scampi. I enjoyed the Stromboli although it was a bit light on the cheese. Sauce was fantastic. My wife was disappointed with the Shrimp Scampi. It was almost twice the cost of the Stromboli and she said the shrimp portion was way too small and dried out.

This is my 3rd time at this location. 1st and 2nd experience were great. The food and service. This 3rd time was not a charm. We were served by Pamela and I’m not sure if she was having a bad day, but she didn’t get our order right even after repeating it 4 times after saying she understood. She had an attitude or didn’t feel like working, as she carried that same attitude with the next table. Our family loves coming here but her service was unpleasant. Hopefully she has a better service for next time.
