I'll def be going back again to try the food too. The atmosphere and interior design is beautiful as well, not to mention how kind and welcoming Jay was. My only problem was finding the shop! I was looking for Pearl Lady and i had to go into the winery next door to ask for directions! Turns out the sign to look out for is DomoIshi, and after you go inside you'll find Pearl Lady. Can't wait to go again!
Boba I ordered: Muddy Mango Cream Honey Boba Overall boba rating (out of 5): 3 out of 5 Setting: Shares space with another restaurant, I did not see seating, but it might be on the other side. Parking is not convenient, have to park on street (pay or 15 minute pickup) or in garage (pay). Service: Great service, did explain the different drinks so I can order what I'm looking for. Price: Comparable to the boba places around the area. Other: Overall, 5 out of 5 for Yelp review since the service was great and the variety of options available.
Went there for lunch today, and it was 100% worth it. They offer food and drinks like bubble tea and poké bowls so as a high schooler looking for lunch this is very filling. Be warned that they make it fresh so order ahead or come there early to ensure you're back before the end-of-lunch bell rings. The bubble tea starts at $6.75, though with more topping the price can work its way up
We ordered an amber boba milk tea and golden fruit tea and these were two of the worst drinks we have ever tasted. Each of our drinks cost $5.95+tax. The menu (pictured) does not accurately state the price. When we asked for clarification from the cashier, the cashier kept saying he didn 't see the price and had no idea what we were talking about. When we pointed it out to him, his only explanation was: that was the price for the drink that was pictured. When we received the drinks, it wasn 't until we tried drinking it, that we noticed one of the cups wasn 't fully sealed and half of it spilled all over me. Both of our drinks lacked flavor. The amber boba milk tea tasted like plain milk and the bubbles were difficult to drink. There was barely any brown sugar drizzle on the sides. The golden fruit tea tasted similar to dishwasher soap. Neither drink had ANY tea flavor to it. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with our visit. We couldn 't even finish either of our drinks because half of it spilled on me and the other wasn 't edible.
Ordered a golden fruit tea and an Amber boba milk tea and both were very disappointing. First of all, the boba menu doesn't include any prices for the individual choices, but for each section there is a picture of a random tea and a price written right next to it. So granted, you would think that's the price for the section of the teas right? Wrong! Despite the section being labeled with 5.50 and 5.75, the two were both charged for 5.95, bringing the total to 6.31 for the drinks each. When we asked the cashier, he had no clue why that was. After the drinks were made, we tried to shake the milk tea to bring the sugar back up. But the drink wasn't properly sealed and it spilled all over us. For both drinks, the tea flavor was completely nonexistent. The amber milk tea barely had any brown sugar and it tasted like I was just drinking a cup of whole milk. The golden fruit tea tasted like dishwater with the lack of tea and fruit taste. Overall, had a terrible experience with just the boba. We used to like this place a lot but thought to try it again after a while. Definitely never going back again.
