Fireside Chicken And Tacos - Rockwall

The food was really just ok. The steak was tough and lacked the distinct flavors we’ve grown up with. The birria was nice and tender, but super greasy and again lacked flavor. The chips that came out with salsa at the beginning were great, but the chips with the nachos were not. The salsas are also watered down. Don’t think we will be trying them again

The steak in the quesadilla was great. But this review is for the birria….one of the worst I’ve had in the DFW thus far. No seasoning, just the taste of tomatoes and chili powder. Had to add salt to make it taste better.

Normally good..ordered today for my family..the nachos serving was very small. In addition to the missing guacamole which is always served with the quesdillas. Seems as if the quality was down today. When spending close to $60, food should be supreme!!

Not sure who’s leaving all these great reviews. LMAO. chips are hard, cokes taste watered down. AND THE FOOD. My goodness disgusting. You can never go wrong with nachos and lord i can make better ones at home. My husband got birria tacos with a side of rice and the rices tasted days old. Parking: Wm Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

I recently dined at Fireside Chicken and Tacos (Rockwall location) and had a mixed experience. While the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere warm and inviting, the food quality left much to be desired. The carne asada was tough, making it difficult to enjoy. Additionally, the chicken was overcooked and dry, which was quite disappointing considering the restaurant’s focus on grilled items. Despite the food issues, the positive aspects of the service and ambiance are worth mentioning. The staff were courteous and quick to assist, and the setting provided a cozy environment for a meal. Overall, if Fireside Chicken and Tacos can improve the quality of their dishes, it would be a much more enjoyable dining experience.
