King's Crab Shack - Rockwall

Food was great but, a little less seasoning in the seafood

Don't recommend at all.Spent $170.The king grab was so different than I ever had, I eat alot of crab. Seems like everything was already steamed, all they did was toss it in the sauce you order. All the crab was like it was over steamed. Crawfish taste like water. No flavor on meat internally.

We just ate here tonight for the first time and will not be returning. the service was as terrible as the food was. One waiter working the entire floor. Did not have an ounce of customer service. We ordered crawfish. We didn’t even finish it most of it was soggy and mushy. The color of the meat was an off color and the seasoning was so muddy. We started to feel sick immediately after eating maybe a lb and decided to leave. For almost 80 dollars it was definitely not worth it. Save your money and go to shell shack!!!

The food is freaken awesome. The price is fairly low compare to other seafood places. The service is not that great only one waiter, place not that fancy but it's doable. The Cajun crab, jumbo shrimp with potatoes and corn , is to die for. Cajun fries were amazing. Way better than Joe's Crab Shack. It's cheaper to order beer by the bucket. Ordered the Cajun crab medium (spicy it is so be warned) my daughter ordered the mild (sissy) much better. I love spicey food but this is pretty spicey. If you love great food but don't care about fancy cater to you place you will this restaurant. Food is amazing. Will defiantly go back.

Tried their snow crab special in the mild King's Crab sauce (a mixture of all the seasonings). It came with a crab cluster, some very large shrimp, potatoes, sausage, and corn for $25. The mild was quite spicy, so I wouldn't recommend choosing any higher than mild. Everything was delicious and the sauce was plentiful. I'm glad that there is finally a good seafood in Rockwall and I will be back. I will say that next time I'll likely use their drive thru and order takeout. I chose to dine in on my first visit and ended up having to leave mid-meal because the restaurant was extremely hot and I was being eaten alive by the mosquitoes in there. Definitely didn't make for a comfortable dining experience. So I'd suggest you order takeout.
