There wasn’t even a smoke ring on it. Where’s the smoke ring? Overall, it just didn’t have any taste. The only thing I enjoyed was the fried cabbage. I've had much better brisket in North Carolina and Ohio. I'm very disappointed!
I ordered the 3-meat platter along with two large sides, and the total came to $31. I'm happy to pay for good food, and everything was delicious. My only minor complaint—though it's not significant enough to affect my star rating—was that I requested chopped brisket, but it was finely ground instead. I will definitely return and make sure to specify "chopped with a knife" next time!
We arrived for dinner around 7:30 and were asked if we wanted to order to-go or dine in. When we opted for dining in, the two staff members exchanged looks as if they preferred we didn’t stay so close to closing time. The restaurant was nearly empty, and the service felt unfriendly, which made our dinner experience quite disappointing.
I was on a business trip and wanted BBQ. Decided to try this place as it was close to the hotel. It's was Ok. Not bad. Not great. Nothing stood out as great. Nothing stood out as horrible. Likely would not go back.
First time here. The meat was good but as it is ground up for the sandwich I had, there were so many pieces of gristle and fat to actually enjoy the sandwich. BBQ sauce was yummy. Mashed potatoes tasted as if they were from a box but the white gravy wasgood. Cole slaw was good too. Price was a bit high at almost $14 for a sandwich, two sides amd a drink. I will give itanother try, one more, and try other sides. One great surprise was how delicious the FREE ice cream is that you can have afteryour meal!!
