Absolutely amazing. we drove about an hour because we heard so big things and we were so glad we did. many food restrictions in our family and we all found something we loved. the hühnerburger was delicious. my son had the sweetburger and said it was the best he ever had. we're coming back!
My second time here and WOW! You can’t beat the freshness and the quality of these burgers. They have so many delicious burgers and hot dogs on their menu, makes it hard to pick just one! But that’s okay, gives you another reason to keep coming back! Don’t be afraid to start simple with their basic cheeseburger, The Wells Burger. It’s just as delicious as it looks!
Great food friendly people, had really good experience. Definitely something to try and be back!
Came here for lunch with a friend on 2/15. Checked out their menu on the website and was intrigued. I didn't see the reviews here until a day before. The two one stars had me a bit concerned. Let me negate those by saying: both our burgers were flavorful and moist. As for the review mentioning the maskless owner: I was unable to see the grill from any vantage point I had during my time there. So, I'd dismiss that review. My friend had the BBQ Burger and remarked how good it tasted. I had the Bacon Blue Burger. It was flavorful and moist enough to soak the bun. It showed that it came with Wells PB sauce. I requested that it be served on the side as that just sounded like an odd addition. Both came with a small helping of perfectly cooked (in my opinion), lightly salted, fries. The Wells PB sauce turned out to be a rather light and vibrant peanut butter base. A creamy texture that maintained the peanut butter flavor. It was good, but glad I got it on the side. I did try a few bites with it. If you've grown accustomed to the gargantuan portion sizes in America, then you'll find the portions to be small. We both walked away content, but not stuffed, with room for dessert. The menu does state that it's a 1/3lb. burger. Also, keep in mind that this is a farm-to-table restaurant; you're getting pasture raised, hormone free beef. To me, at least, that's worth paying extra for.
