She seemed to have a comfortable familiarity with the diners that she favoured over our group. When I called her on it, she sniffed and walked away. When our food came, it was dropped on the table in front of us. Terrible, but less so if you're a local.
Food was absolutely terrible. Slow service and french fries (we were told they had a special seasoning looked more like bottom of the deep fryer potatoes that tasted like dirt. I had a half one and could not eat anymore. Not only was the service slow it was too expensive for a lunch menu.
We chose to visit here with family as the restaurant offers a great variety of food choices and some of the family members are rather fussy eaters. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the service was very good. Food choices included chicken fingers, a grilled cheese sandwich (served on white bread, not brown as requested), pasta and souvlaki. My choice was the lamb souvlaki which was rather disappointing as the meat was tough and too well cooked. This is the reason my overall rating was four stars rather than five.
The waitress recommended the souvlaki so I ordered the dinner. Large chunks of chicken, wonderfully seasoned, the rice was such a pleasant surprise – very fresh and nice finely chopped veggies. Salad was fresh and lots of it! Not very fancy but it was clean with really good food.
I ordered the Soup of the Day, Chicken Barley; it was white and pasty, tasted like starch. When the waitress asked how our food was, I told her I couldn't eat the soup, even the crackers were stale. I was very disappointed that she still charged me for the soup.
