I really wanted to like this restaurant, but both times I went there, the service was incredibly slow and the food was just okay. The prices should have been lower considering the quality. There are much better Mexican restaurants out there. I always wondered why this place was always empty, and now I know why. It's a shame because the location could use a good restaurant. I suspect that this place is under new and poor management based on other reviews. Maybe it was great at one point, but it is now the worst Mexican restaurant I have been to. The service is slow, the food is mediocre, and the prices are high with no specials. They don't even offer takeout menus. I suggest going somewhere else. I hope this place can turn things around, but it seems like they will be going out of business soon.

Avoid this restaurant at all costs. Since the new ownership took over, the place has gone downhill. Save your money and go elsewhere. The menu has changed for the worse, with nothing appetizing to choose from. The menu itself was dirty and stained with old food, and the whole restaurant was still dirty from the previous day. The staff looked sloppy and unprofessional. When we arrived 15 minutes after opening, the lights were off and all the chairs were still on the tables. It's clear that they have no pride in their restaurant, menu, or customer service.

Disgusting-Stay away! Don't waste your money. The restaurant has gone downhill since the new ownership took over. They have shorter hours now, the menu is terrible, and the staff looks sloppy. The restaurant was filthy from the day before. The staff doesn't care about serving quality food or taking care of customers. We arrived at 11:15 when they open at 11:00, but the lights were still off and the chairs were still on the tables. It used to be our favorite place to eat with the old owners, but not anymore. We will never eat there again.

The food was incredible and the service was outstanding! This is the best Mexican restaurant in Roanoke!

Food was ok. Orders came out partial. Ex. Ordered shrimp tacos with beans and rice. Got tacos and beans and rice came later.
