In addition to pizza, they also serve wings, turnovers (pizza, not dessert), salads, and craft beer. Upon arrival, we noticed a small board on the counter featuring a s’more menu, adding to the charm of the restaurant. We decided to order a personal margherita and a bianca pizza paired with a bold Rock Watermelon cider. There is something special about the crispy, toasted crust that can only be achieved through a wood stove, making their pizzas stand out from those cooked in a regular oven. After our meal, we took a stroll around the mills, realizing what a truly special place it is. The Tipsy Tomato is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy delicious pizza and craft beer.
The pizza at this restaurant was delicious, with a great taste and well-made. However, the service could use some improvement. When our pizza and salad were brought to our table, there were no plates, napkins, or utensils provided. After requesting them, the server seemed indifferent and only brought two plates, two forks and knives, and one napkin. Considering the price of the pizza, we expected better service. Additionally, the use of plastic cutlery and cheap paper napkins should be upgraded to better quality items.
They loved this charming pizzeria, tucked away in the business district mills. I ordered the paprika pizza with 6 small slices. It was delicious with a lovely soft and crispy crust. I will definitely be coming back.
Pizza for a great price to decorate. service was friendly and super! the Rocky Mont stopped to feed the dogs and ourselves, and that was the best “fast food” we could have asked. they even have personal cakes so they can treat themselves? no comment to the more prosperous, who did not take much care of our pups who eat outside with us. or maybe they didn't take care of me.?
Omg. This is seriously the best pizza of all time. Even better is the history of this place. The Rocky Mount mills dates back to 1818, so this history is so interesting to learn from. Make sure you grab a beer too. You can get a pitcher of bud light or mix ultra for $15!
