Herb's Tavern - Rocky River

So nice on the patio on a nice day. Service was fantastic and personal.

Herb's even better than I remember. Service was terrific. Interesting and creative menu. The food was excellent. Blood Orange Margaritas were outstanding. A Westside landmark that's a must visit.

Very disappointed. This is my first negative review. It is warranted. First, we came to celebrate my husband. It was a very special day and it was tainted. He ate here years ago as a child and felt nostalgic wanting to go tonight.First, the food was mid at best.Second, we ordered French fries (large) and my son is picky asked for no herbs(rosemary). They brought fries with herbs. It was wrong. They brought us a new basket. We ended up paying 28$ for fries!!!!(for two baskets sven though it was the kitchen/service mistake)We won’t be going back.

Mediocre overpriced food. Why? Patti melt preformed garbage burgers. Crab bisque fishy and sweet gross pretty sure we both got ill later today.

Atmosphere and average service is the only thing you will find here. Very underwhelming and overpriced food. We got a large side of fries w/ nacho cheese and they brought out a small bowl formerly frozen crinkle cut fries with a side of gas station quality nacho cheese. And that was a $15 side? The patty melt was ok, and the au jus herb sandwich was good but very pink when I asked for medium.. also.. not worth $17. Upon paying and leaving I felt as if I was just held at gunpoint and someone just stole $77 dollars (no drinks) from my wallet.. I now remember why it took me 2 years to come back to this restaurant
