Market - Rocky River

We've been frequenting this restaurant for many years and have generally enjoyed good food and service. However, we've recently encountered issues with their business practices. On our latest visit, we were taken aback to discover a 2.5% processing fee added to our bill without any prior notification—there was no signage or information indicating that such a fee would be charged. It appears this fee applies regardless of whether you pay by cash, debit card, or credit card. This unexpected charge left us with a sour impression of a place we once loved. We’ve decided not to return and advise others to carefully check their bills for any additional charges.

We had the best experience on Tuesday at Market Rocky River! After many disappointing meals lately at other restaurants, this was the best we have had in a long time, mainly because of our server going above and beyond. Stephanie made sure that we had everything we needed and was super knowledgeable about the menu. We enjoyed the entire experience and the restaurant was clean, and the bar had great drinks. She made this experience so enjoyable for me and my husband that I know we will come back, and ask for Stephanie's section!

Stumbled upon this restaurant when we were in town for a wedding and had a delicious meal! Have been thinking about the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich since we left. The bread, the chicken=perfection! The drinks were also delicious. I had the strawberry guava mimosa and would recommend. Also need to mention how delicious the fries were!

Nice atmosphere. Decent service. Brunch was very good. Fair prices. They add the credit card processing fee onto your bill, which I have never seen done anywhere. I thought that was a little bit strange. Maybe they could add a small percentage to the check for their electric bill too?

Good food and good drink with a very open atmosphere and space?!? What’s not to love? I enjoyed the visit and recommend it for a burger or salad. Both options are quite tasty and well prepared
