Locanda Demenagas Greek Rhodes - Rodos

If you like seafood, you are in the right place. In their day card they had mussels with a white wine sauce and fried Calamari, and I must say both were perfect. It's the first time I fried Calamari with fresh Calamari and that definitely makes a difference! Oh, and this feta and red pepper dip (tirokafteri) is delicious!

After a few weeks back to Rhodes we decided to try this restaurant that we had gone past the first stretch of our holiday, but it was closed. The interior is beautiful with views over the port of the window tables. It was empty when we arrived, but later became busy. We were greeted by a younger guy and our liter of wine was provided. We started with a green salad and aubergine sabanaki, both delicious. Later the calves liver was enormously served with roasted potatoes and rice, very excellent. I also had beef stew. Free baclava and mastic were a nice finish to an excellent meal, all for 47 euros.

Beautiful place with beautiful dishes... large portions and relaxing views.

This is AMAZING. We went there twice and were overwhelmed with the quality of food, the hospitality of the owners and the general atmosphere in the restaurant. We could not recommend this restaurant higher. This is a real jewel! A must to visit if you want to experience genuine Greek hospitality and traditional Greek cuisine. Don't miss the Musaka it absolutely Devine!

Delicious food, friendly service, affordable prices. It is a short walk outside of the old town but well worth it. Wish we could have tried all the dishes. Fried calamari and grilled shrimp dishes were outstanding
