El Cuñado Mexican Cuisine - Rogers

I ate here for the first time recently and was disappointed. I decided to eat here because the prices looked very reasonable and had decent reviews. I was surprised when the actual prices were vastly different than the menu prices, that should really be updated. I paid $10 more for my wife and I than I expected then was charged extra for using a credit card which I wasn’t told about nor saw a sign for.I bought brisket tacos and there were big chunks of fat in them which was an instant turn off. My wife got enchiladas which she said were good but pretty basic, not really seasoned or anything. One positive thing I can say is they give us a nice sized bag of tortilla chips with our to go order for free.

Save your receipt and beware of these thieves! I ordered 7 sopes for takeout and it came to a total of $39 which is already enough. I signed the receipt and left the tip section blank since it was an order to go. When the charge posted on my credit card they had added a $5 tip to the total. That’s fraud and when I confronted the store about it, they said the owner would call me back but they never did. I had to contact my credit card issuer to get that money back. I know it’s just $5 but it’s not about the money. It’s the principle. Never going back to these money hungry rats again.

Food is authentic and you definitely get alot of food for what you pay for picture is a large nacho which my husband was only able to eat half of it. The service is great and the atmosphere is good!! Loved this place will be back!Kid-friendliness: Nice kids menu!

Food is on point. Ladies raking the order were pleasant. They do some live music. Mon thru thrus they have a killer deal on beer mugs... Highly recommend if your craving some excellent Mexican foodFood: 5/5

I have lived in Rogers for about 15 months and trying to hit as many Mexican restaurants as possible and it's impossible to hit them all. So this is my first stop at El Cunado but won't be my last. It is very colorful, open and clean inside. Service was very prompt and attentive. They brought out chips, salsa and refried beans and guacamole for dipping. I had the house enchilada's and my wife had the house taco's. The enchiladas had great flavor and the rice and refried beans were very good. The tacos were very good as well. A good experience all around.
