Ruby's Diner - Rolling Hills Estates

This place is cool and tidy because it is on the promenade and next to the ice rink. Eating was good for Diner Essen. The service was slow. Be ready to be patient when you eat here. I think how many others are, this restaurant is underused and overworked. Good people just work too hard. All in all, a cool experience.

Great food and great atmosphere. It's nice that they also serve beer and have great shakes. Our favorites are Calamari strips, mushroom burgers, fish n chips, children Cheeseburger, children Mac n cheese, pommes, chili frits and onion rings. This place is very family friendly. They had 4 different TV shows with 4 different child-friendly shows. For additional entertainment there is an ice hockey ring that is visible from certain diner tables.

Once again, proves to be the tip of the food chain for me regarding a really very well made burger, I get the Bacon burger with an extra patty, chili cheese frries and a Cherry Coke. It just can't be beaten and I've tried many burgers, even some from other states and this one can't be beaten.

The service is great and the food is delicious. The food and the atmosphere of the restaurant is family-friendly. There is something on the menu for those who prefer the oldie, but goodies, but also the modern options are divine. Those who knew Veggie Burger and buffalo flowers fit so well with the nostalgia of this 50s style dinner.

I ordered through doordash so I cannot say about the service. But the food is incredible. Great taste and plenty of portions.
