Dematteo's - Rome

Check out the pictures from their new trivia night, taking place every Tuesday from 6:30 PM in December 2021. I tried their burgers for the first time and went with the "Eastside" burger - it was amazing! The ingredients were super fresh, the buns were great, and everything just worked so well together. I would definitely recommend it - 10/10! The staff was friendly and there was a really fun group of gamers participating in the trivia night. I hope you get a chance to see it for yourself!

On Sunday, June 9th, I hosted a surprise 60th birthday party for my fiancé at Dematteos. This was the second surprise party I have held at this venue. Anthony Dematteo and his staff made both parties unforgettable. Dematteos is a clean and spacious venue, with the bonus of an extended patio that was a big hit. Anthony made sure to stay in touch with me to ensure that no details were overlooked. Thanks to the excellent service from Dematteo and his staff, the party was a big success. Renowned for their delicious burgers topped with long hot peppers, this restaurant is a must-visit landmark in town. The char from the grill adds an unbeatable flavor and the burgers are always served hot and fresh. The extensive beer selection and cold, refreshing wines make for the perfect accompaniment to any meal. The friendly and welcoming staff, along with the talented bartenders who whip up refreshing drinks, make each visit a memorable experience. We make sure to stop by every time we are in town!

I visited this original restaurant in Rome for the first time. The exterior was unassuming and the interior was a standard bar setting. There was plenty of space and seating options, including an outdoor patio for warmer weather. The restaurant staff greeted us promptly and provided fast service, which was impressive given the current shortage of waitstaff. I relied on my coworker's recommendations for the food selection. We started with the hot Hungarian long peppers and cheese, which were served with oil and chili paste, provolone slices, and thin Italian bread. It was fantastic, but be careful as the oil from the peppers can be hot! For my main dish, I tried the World Famous Burger, a 1/2 lb burger on a sesame seed bun. The burger was grilled perfectly and cooked medium rare, although I felt it could have used more seasoning. It was served with Terrell's ridged chips since they didn't have fries available.
